However, if you have access to gas, you can choose between a traditional gas range and a dual-fuel range. A traditional gas range runs both the cooktop and the oven on gas. A dual-fuel range, on the other hand, runs the cooktop on gas and the oven on electricity, but it needs a higher-voltage power source.
